Memoir of Things™—
The App

A simple way to capture the stories behind the things you’ve kept.

Think of it as a digital scrapbook—composed of individual pages, where each object becomes a story, captured through a photo, a written memory, and, if you choose, your own voice.

Choose a Chapter

Each story is placed within a chapter, giving shape and structure to your life as it unfolds.

Start by choosing a chapter—a category—for the thing you want to capture. If none feels quite right, you can choose Miscellaneous for stories that don’t fit neatly into a specific chapter but still matter. Or, if you’re not ready to decide, choose Decide Later—a temporary place where your story can remain until you’re ready to move it.

View the Chapter

Each chapter becomes a place where your stories gather.

As you add stories, they appear here as a collection of photos—like a visual table of contents.

The chapter description is visible here as a guide for what belongs, helping you shape and organize your stories over time.

From here, you can continue adding and revisiting your stories at any time.

Add Your Story

Stories are the vessels that preserve your memories of cherished things.

Each one brings together a photograph and the meaning behind it, expressed in your own words.

View Your Story

Each story becomes a finished page in your digital scrapbook.

It brings together the chapter name, the photograph, the story behind it, and, when available, a recording in your own voice.

Though complete, it can always be revisited and changed—especially after you see it as a finished page.

Edit Your Story

Any part of your story can always be updated or edited.

That flexibility allows you to refine the chapter, replace the photograph, revise the story, or update the recording as it evolves.

The free version allows you to create and preserve up to 10 stories, with unlimited stories and additional features available in a paid version.

Record Your Voice

With a paid version, you can add your voice to a story—capturing a brief anecdote in your own words.

The recording is optional and allows someone close to you to hear you speak about your belonging in your own voice.

A paid version also allows you to customize your chapters and add an email to share your stories with a loved one.

Future versions will continue to expand how you can preserve and revisit your stories—including new ways to keep copies outside the app.
